At BIC, we respect every individual's right to privacy. Our relationship with you is our most valuable asset and is the very basis of our name and reputation. We understand the importance you place on the privacy and security of information that personally identifies you or your account information. We refer to and treat this information "personal information."

This is our Privacy Notice for our customers. This notice will tell you the sources of nonpublic personal information that we collect on our customers and will also tell you the measures we take to secure that information. First we'll define some terms:

You and your means all of our consumers or customers who have a continuing relationship with us, such as clients who have a brokerage account with us or for whom we provide investment advisory services.

We, our and us, means Beacon Investment Company.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Information That We Collect

We collect personal information about you from the following sources:

·          Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as our investment advisory agreement

·          Information about your transactions with us or others

·          Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency

Additionally, when you establish an account with us "We will ask you to provide identification information that is required for the U.S.A. Patriot Act. Acceptable forms of governmental issued identification include passports, valid drivers licenses, governmental issued picture identifications and military identifications.

Information That We Disclose

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law.

Of Your Nonpublic Personal Information

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information. We continue to evaluate our efforts to protect nonpublic personal information and make every effort to keep your personal information accurate and up to date. If you identify any error in your personal information or need to make a change to that information, please contact us and we promptly update our records.

Beacon Investment Company Business Continuity Plan

 Beacon Investment Company maintains a business continuity plan, including redundant data centers and alternate processing facilities, to address interruptions to our normal course of business.  These plans are reviewed annually and updated as necessary.  Our plan outlines the actions Beacon Investment Company will take in the event of a building, city-wide, or regional incident, including relocating technology and operational personnel to preassigned alternate facilities. 

 All Beacon Investment Company’s operational facilities are equipped for resumption of business and are tested several times a year.  Our clearing agent, N.F.S., has indicated a recovery time objective for their business resumption of four hours.

 In the event that Beacon Investment Company needs to execute it business continuity strategy, Beacon can  be reached by calling the customary telephone number(s).  We have a recovery plan in place with our communications supplier to re-direct all incoming calls to a remote location in the event of an significant business disruption.
